Acquired by Pacific Brands in 2000, Boydex International were giants in the outwear market, with their own house labels and other licensed brands the likes of Slazenger, Hang Ten, Lightning Bolt, Amco, Lee Cooper, Arrow, Penguin, Gotcha and others. Hurricane were enlisted to help provide trade and mainstream marketing collateral across all mediums. With over $100M in sales and the DDS market sewn up, they were soon acquired by Pacific brands with their own brands and handling production of many ‘in house’ labels direct with off-shore markets.
